Privacy Policy for the App “Coreminer”

Last updated: November 2026

1. Overview

This privacy policy explains which personal data is processed when you use the game Coreminer (the “App”) on an Android device. Personal data means any information that can be used to identify you personally.

In short:

2. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing in the App is:

León Brzosa – LeoKur (LeoKur Games)
Lohwall 4
48249 Dülmen
Germany

Email: contact@leokur.com
Website: https://leokur.com

We have not appointed a data protection officer because we are not legally required to do so.

3. What data is processed

3.1 Game progress (stored locally on your device)

Your progress (resources, upgrades, managers, settings and the status of your purchases) is stored only in the App’s storage on your device. This data is not transmitted to us. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, your progress will be lost.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the game) and Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG, because this storage is strictly necessary for the game to work.

3.2 Download and use via Google Play

You download the App from Google Play, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. In doing so, Google processes data such as your Google account, device information and IP address under its own responsibility. Google’s privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Through the Google Play Console we receive aggregated statistics (for example, install counts by country and device type) and technical crash and error reports (Android Vitals). This information does not identify you personally. We use it to keep the App stable and fix bugs. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is operating the App without errors.

3.3 In-app purchases (Google Play Billing)

The App offers optional in-app purchases, for example “Remove Ads”, packs, crystals, the Mine Pass and the “Golden Lamp” subscription. Purchases and payments are handled exclusively by Google Play. Google does not share your payment details (such as credit card or PayPal) with us.

To unlock a purchase, the App receives technical purchase information from Google Play: product ID, purchase token, order ID, purchase time and purchase status. The App processes and stores this information on your device so that purchases can be credited and restored after a reinstall.

In the Google Play Console we can also see order and revenue data for each purchase, for example order ID, product, price, country and date. We use this data for our accounting and to meet legal retention obligations.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (tax and commercial law obligations).

3.4 Advertising via Google AdMob

The App is funded in part by advertising, for example optional rewarded videos. For this we use Google AdMob, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

The AdMob SDK included in the App automatically collects data such as the following and sends it to Google:

Google uses this data to serve and measure ads, to prevent fraud and, if you have consented, to personalize ads. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Google processes some of this data as an independent controller.

Consent: When you first start the App, it asks for your consent through Google’s consent form (User Messaging Platform). Personalized ads, and storing or accessing information on your device for advertising purposes, only happen with your consent. In that case the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(1) TDDDG.

If you do not consent, the App may still show non-personalized or limited ads. Google then uses your data only to a limited extent, for example for fraud prevention and ad measurement. In that case the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is funding the free App through advertising.

Changing or withdrawing consent: You can change your choice at any time in the App under Settings → Privacy. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads).

Turning off ads: After the “Remove Ads” in-app purchase, the App no longer loads ads.

3.5 Contact by email

If you email us, for example at contact@leokur.com, we process your email address, your name (if you provide it) and the content of your message in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your request relates to a purchase or to using the App, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise. Our legitimate interest is answering requests. We delete the data once your request has been handled and no legal retention obligations remain.

4. Transfers to third countries

Google may also process data on servers outside the EU, in particular in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, so an EU Commission adequacy decision applies to these transfers (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Google uses the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

5. Recipients

Personal data is only shared with the Google services named above (Google Play, Google AdMob). Otherwise we only share data where we are legally required to, for example with tax authorities. We do not sell any data.

6. Retention

Unless a specific period is stated in this policy, we keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the relevant purpose. After that it is deleted, unless legal retention periods (for example under tax law) require us to keep it longer. Your local game progress stays on your device until you delete the App or its data.

7. Children

Coreminer is not directed at children under 13. Users under 16 may only consent to personalized advertising with the consent of a parent or guardian (Art. 8 GDPR).

8. Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

Where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then stop processing the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You may object to processing for direct marketing purposes at any time without giving reasons.

Please note: we do not store your game progress on our own servers, so we hold no such data about you. For data that Google processes as an independent controller, please contact Google directly.

To make any request, simply email contact@leokur.com.

Right to lodge a complaint: You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany, https://www.ldi.nrw.de

9. No automated decision-making

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal effects on you (Art. 22 GDPR).

10. Changes

We will update this privacy policy when the App or the legal situation changes, for example when new features or platforms are added. The current version is always available at https://leokur.com/coreminer/privacy.

Parts of this privacy policy are based on template texts from eRecht24 (https://www.e-recht24.de).
